CROOKS INC. is a London-based jazz collective blending '90s R&B with modern jazz. The six-piece band—featuring bass, drums, guitar, keys, sax, and vocals—creates a soulful sound influenced by artists like Erykah Badu, Hiatus Kaiyote, Yazmin Lacey, and Kokoroko.

 

Formed in late 2021, CROOKS INC. has performed at venues such as Ronnie Scott's, Brixton Jamm, O2 Academy Islington, and XOYO. Notably the band also played the closing set at London Jazz Festival 2024. With three singles released, their music combines groovy rhythms, dynamic instrumentals, and laid-back lyricism, offering a unique take on contemporary jazz.

Their latest track, "Let Go," emerged from a jam session and delves into the struggle of self-prioritization and recognizing unhealthy relationships. The song features heartfelt lyrics layered over jazz and soul-infused instrumentals, highlighting the band's creative and emotional depth.
